Praise and Worship Night

6:30 – 7:30pm  — Refreshments following

I once heard a sermon where the pastor reminded the congregation that we are ‘human beings’ and not ‘human doings’. Sometimes we just need respite and to ‘be’ rather than ‘do’.

Come and enjoy singing favorite contemporary and traditional songs. How Great Thou Art, Great is Thy Faithfulness, Here I Am to Worship, Holy Spirit, To God Be The Glory, Go Make A Difference, The Heart of Worship are just a few of the selections to be presented. If you don’t know the song, close your eyes and meditate on the words. If you know the song, sing heartily! There will be something for everyone to enjoy! We (the music staff and praise team) are preparing an hour of uplifting, encouraging, faith-filled music along with an opportunity for prayer. After 2020 and the beginning of 2021, gathering together to worship in song can ‘feed the soul’. Invite your friends and neighbors. Let’s fill our pews (safely) and raise the roof with music! Come and ‘be’!

Hope to see you there —
