Worshiping at Trinity
The worshiping community at Trinity is warm and welcoming to all! Trinity offers two meaningful but distinct styles of worship, Contemporary at 9:00am and Traditional at 10:45am. We recognize that worship styles evolve and change. We have a worship option to suit your spiritual needs. The message is the same for the two services. The song lyrics and the scripture readings are projected on large multimedia screens at both of the services. Come as you are for God accepts each of us with our doubts, hopes and fears, our successes and failures. Both services have an abundance of community warmth and celebration.
There is a Church School for all ages between services at 10:00.
Nursery and Child care is available at both services.
Traditional Service
The Traditional Service follows the standard liturgy as presented in the Book of Common Worship of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Our chancel choir and organist lead our congregation in worship with the singing of traditional hymns. The music is truly glorious, especially when the organist and pianist accompany at the same time. While this service is more formal, the congregation is still warm and welcoming to people of all walks of life.
Contemporary Service
This upbeat service is designed to appeal to those who might enjoy a Christ-centered worship service featuring contemporary Christian music. The music is led by our praise team vocalists accompanied by the keyboard, a guitar, and drums. This service is held in our Community Life Center (CLC) where the atmosphere is more relaxed, even the pastor dresses more casually. Come, sit at one of the many large round tables with a cup of hot coffee, a yummy, and enjoy the Word.
Traditional and Contemporary Ministry Action Teams (MATs)
The purpose of these two MATs is to offer suggestions to Session regarding the format of the services, the scheduled times of services, and the needs for special offerings. They establish a yearly budget and are responsible for the seasonal decorations that enhance the worship service.
