Trustees
Board of Trustees - Bud Beeman, Chair
The goal of the Board of Trustees is to be fiscally responsible stewards of church funds and to maintain the physical integrity of the church properties and grounds. Three sub groups report to the trustees in order to achieve this goal. As a committee of the Session, it's members include: Bud Beeman, Roger Kizzek, Carter Smith, Stew Beyer, Don Stewart and Elmer June.
Buildings and Grounds - Dan Dunham, Chair
Purpose:
To maintain vigilance over the condition of our physical plant and grounds.
Responsibilities:
* to identify and pursue the upkeep of the facilities
* to work with and oversee contractors to maintain parking lot and physical building keeping it in good condition
* to utilize the skills of other members by identifying and recruiting new members for this MAT
Endowment Fund - Carter Smith, Chair
Trinity's Endowment Fund is a permanent investment tool whereby the principal is invested, and always remains in the fund. The committee will review the fund and will at least annually distribute 20 to 80% of the net income to the session. Session will authorize the distribution of funds, having final approval of the disbursements. The principal will not be distributed unless there is a windstorm, hurricane or catastrophe that causes damage and the cost to repair and/or replace is not covered by insurance. The Endowment Fund is managed by Carter Smith, Steve Benz, Earl Middelthon, Bryan Page, and Larry Wagner.
Decorating - Susan Struble, Chair
Purpose:
To present a welcoming appearance to all who enter Trinity Presbyterian Church by maintaining and enhancing the interior of the church building.
Responsibilities:
* to identify need for updating and/or redecorating
* to maintain a proper chain of command with the trustees
* to determine where and if donated articles will be used
The decorating MAT members are: Susan Struble, Joan Mrha and Carole Stewart.
